The North Corner RoomThis room was furnished as the other bedrooms - with rag carpet, home-made wool qilts, straw tick, candle for light, a bed and chair. Travelers were weary when they reached the oasis in the desert and were glad for a haven of rest. Many times Porter Rockwell slept in this room. Bill Hickman stayed here also. The stagecoach drivers, Pony Express riders, prospectors, and many other weary travelers received a night's lodging in this room.
