If you've made it through the whole compilation, you've read a lot about John. Do you know John any better? If you never knew him, do you feel you know him now?

Remember, that was my goal. I wanted to introduce John, a man of great influence in our family, a man who should not be forgotten.

I want to end this by quoting one more time from John's journal....

"Since the time I was able to understand how man had ordered the years, I have wanted to live to see the next century. That will be 2001, my 65th birthday."

I invite any of you to plan with me to celebrate the turn of the century in John's honor. We can have what would have been his 65th birthday party and as was the tradition, when we could afford it, LET'S UNROLL THE NEWSPAPER FROM AROUND THE CRAB LEGS AND EAT!
